The English explanations

The following posts of the Chinese lesson in English and in Italian have been finished, I hope that they will be useful for the friends that do not know Italian.
If I am free, I will add other posts in English here.

EXAMPLE1



女:woman (It is shaped like a woman sitting flat on her knees) . It is explained in the book "What's in a Chinese Character"

From the character, we can learn the other character "zhuang1" more easily
"zhuang1": makeup

The left of the character is like a mirror, the right of it means "woman")
So a woman sits by a mirror is for putting on makingup.

EXAMPLE2gu3: antique (It is explained from the book "What's in a Chinese Character")

My explanation: (my idea is different from the explanation of the book "What's in a Chinese Character", I repeat the same character for learning the other one easier)
The top of the character is like a cross , the bottom of it likes a place.
If a cross is inserted on a place, then the place is antique, for example: a tomb,a church, and so on.

zhan4: occupy
Top of the character is like a flag , the bottom of it likes a place.If a flag is inserted on a place then the place is occupied.
We compare two characters:
